Molly and I fell in together well over ten years ago. She had beautiful hair, soulful eyes and a smile that made everyone around her smile. Everyone commented how pretty she was despite her having a bit of a pot belly and a limp, which, like several of her other issues, I assume she had from birth. Spent a great day with the Fat Guy Shooting Team at the fabulous United States Shooting Academy. Here’s a glimpse at the fun had 12 hours after surviving the quake.
At a local pistol competition, I was becoming somewhat frustrated at my lack of improvement. My draw times were respectable, my ability to acquire targets fine and the mechanics of my grip and trigger squeeze were solid. I just couldn’t break the hump. After all the years shooting, I was still finishing just below the top tier shooters. Recognizing my struggles, my friend Keelty (seriously, that’s his name) put his hand on my shoulder and sighed, “Lex, you gotta’ slow down to go faster.”
Have you ever wanted to be the guy who walks into your favorite joint and immediately gets treated like a rock star? Your orders are placed quickly. Your drinks never run low. The waiter is prompt, friendly and treats you like royalty. Here are a few things you can do to make that scenario occur more often.
